Summer has finally arrived here in London, and it’s safe to say the long wait has been worth it. After a day of fun in the sun with some of my best friends, this dreamer is dreaming of all the beautiful places yet to explore. Read on for a list of the top five adventures on my bucket list…
1. Northern Territory, Australia
My dad is an Australian bushman at heart, and seriously misses his country after moving to England many years back. All I ever heard growing up were stories of the bush. Watching Crocodile Dundee was always the highlight of his day; all he’d ever say was how much the scenery reminded him of home. With this in mind, the number one thing on my bucket list has to be to explore Australia’s Northern Territory, with some of the most authentic and beautiful bush you can find in the country.
2. Tahiti, French Polynesia
The landscapes Tahiti has to offer truly are what dreams are made of. With beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters, lagoons, waterfalls and two extinct volcanoes to explore, the list of adventures to be had is endless. Time to start saving for the flights!
3. Vietnam, South East Asia
In my opinion, Vietnam is one of the most underrated countries in the world. When thinking of Vietnam, most people understandably think of the war that spanned nearly 20 years, but what they don’t know is what beautiful landscapes and incredible culture the country has to offer. Having first considered it after watching ‘Jack Whitehall: Travels with my Father’ (which everyone should watch!), I’ve not been able to get it out of my head since. The top of my places to explore is its unique rice terraces.
4. Queenstown, New Zealand
It’s hard to choose where to visit first in New Zealand as most of it is on my somewhere on my bucket list, but the place I’d like to visit most in the country has to be Queenstown. With countless lakes, the Routeburn hiking track, and the incredible Milford Sound to visit nearby, the landscapes surrounding the city are absolutely stunning.
5. Alberta, Canada
Canada has some of the most spectacular scenery this world has to offer, but the lakes in Alberta are by far my favourite. Banff National Park, Lake Louisa, and Jasper all top my list of the most beautiful places to explore in Alberta, and I can’t wait to go on my adventure there.
If any of you have been to any of these places PLEASE comment below with recommendations, places to stay etc. I’d love to hear your thoughts and stories!
Until next time,
